Title: Conformal invariance in inverse turbulent cascades Abstract: We study by means of direct numerical simulations the statistical properties of turbulent cascades in a class of nonlinear models describing the dynamics of a scalar field transported by a two-dimensional incompressible flow. Within the resolution of our numerics we find that the zero-isolines of the scalar field are statistically equivalent to conformal invariant curves described by the Shramm Loewner Equation (SLE).
