Quantum Teichmüller theory and 3-manifold invariants.

ABSTRACT:
I will talk about a TQFT  of novel type constructed from quantum Teichmüller theory,
and describe connections with topology and geometry of hyperbolic 3-manifolds (based
on joint work with Joergen Ellegaard Andersen).
